Because we all know that driver applicants do not always fill out the required forms in their entirety, Cdlsuite.com has added a module that allows carriers to further accelerate the screening process for new applicants.
The MyCDLapp Form Manager allows carriers to easily prepare the necessary consent forms and documents by allowing them to edit the contact information provided by the driver.
Information is provided by the driver during the completion of the driver application
The module takes a before and after approach, whereby the user sees the actual relevant data as provided by the driver during the completion of the driver employment application. This data cannot be changed and remains intact on the driver application as a permanent record.
Individuals responsible for screening are required to modify much of the information provided
The information supplied by the driver is copied to an editable table when the Form Manager is opened by the user. After reviewing the information provided by the driver the user can make necessary adjustments to duplicate data without affecting the original data supplied by the driver. Typical changes are corrections to contact information and the addition of missing information. This corrected information is what will actually be applied to each of the applicable forms as they are downloaded for processing.
Available forms are easily distributed
The Available Forms area of the Form Manager lists each of the forms that were submitted by the driver. Clicking on any of the forms in this area will open that form for view or download. Users also have the option of emailing any of these forms directly out of Form Manager to the intended recipient.
Some forms that are handled within Form Manager are specific to individual employers, while other forms, such as the Driver Application and PSP Consent Form, are more general and are needed only once per driver. Specific employer forms are listed adjacent to their respective target employers. General forms are listed alongside the first employer and are not repeated. This approach makes it extremely easy for HR users to move the screening and background process along at a rapid pace.
Form Manager is expected to be released later this week and is anticipated to be a pivotal add-on to the already popular online driver application solution.
